Bubble shots

This page shows the weird and wonderful things that can be done with bubbles underwater and the beautiful pictures you can create with them, as well as a small explanation as to how this can be achieved.

The bubble rings are made by taking out your regulator (the thing you breathe from), looking up at the surface and making a 'pah' sound with your mouth. This causes the small number of bubbles created to merge into a circle shape, creating stunning, and often huge, bubble rings. All these images were taken using an Olympus TG-6, with a waterproof housing, and some also used an external strobe light.
