Abstract shots

This page is dedicated to showing the best abstract images which I captured when I was creating this project. I have included some information on how the different shots were taken, and what they actually are. Enjoy.

Onion skin

The below images were created by placing a light source behind a piece of onion skin, then taking a very close up macro image. The effect created is rather spectacular.

Water and oil

This group of images are mainly of water and oil, and the incredible things they do when they are mixed. In some of these images I added a few drops of food colouring to the water to give it an extra burst of colour.

These images are of the patterns created when food colouring is dropped into water and begins to diffuse throughout the body of water, creating these stunning images.
